Grain and Hearth is an artisan bakery specialising in handmade sourdough breads and viennoiserie.

All production is on site with pastries and breads coming out the over throughout the day.

Daily vegetarian, vegan and meat options for sourdough sandwiches.

Daily vegan pastries available. All of our sourdough breads are vegan.

Organic and local Kent ingredients used where possible.

We specialise and celebrate organic grains, many of which are grown in the UK and milled locally.

All bread and pastries are slow fermented for 24-36 hours.

Handmade artisan chocolate products made on premises by our amazing chocolatier Lizzey.

Seasonal ferments and pickles including Kimchi made on site using foraged and locally grown produce.

Carefully curated selection of artisan products available for sale, including wheel thrown ceramic keep cups by Whitstable based potter Nadine Sansom of homefolk ceramics.
